Towing with MG ZT-T 190 2.5 V6

Hi, does anyone have any experience of towing with the MG ZT-T 190 2.5 V6. I have a Swift Conqueror 520lux, 1250kg laden, any idea on MPG. Just that i had a V6 2.8 galaxy Auto, and only got 13 mpg on my recent trip to France,£500 of fuel in 2 weeks, aghhhhhh. Don't want this again. I had a MG ZS 180 V6 and would get 32 mpg , not towing obviously, just wondered if i could expect 25mpg towing ?????????

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

You will be lucky to get that solo. I know I had a monogrammed 190 ZT-T. Average MPG I got being VERY conservative was 26. I once got the computer to show 7mpg over 60 miles but I was being a little "pushy" with the throttle.

Try 18-20 towing as your van is light. Want any better than that, then try not to get the exhaust to growl.

Still, there is one real plus to that car, it will out accelerate almost anything even with the van in tow
