Good Morning All,

Does anybody use the Blue and Pink Toilet Chemicals from Towsure and purchased them recently, if so has anyone purchased the 4 Litre Blue and found it to be rather watery?

Cheers

Afternoon,

I spoke with Towsure yesterday about the watery fluid, who then queried it with the suppliers who have confirmed that "the larger bottles of the fluid are of a reduced consistency than the smaller ones" towsure where not aware of this until i pointed it out to them.

As a gogw as i bought 2 x 4 Litre bottles theya re sending me 2 x 2 litre bottles in the post. That it what i call service.

cheers

Rob.

I took a quarter of a old 2 litre bottle and a new 2 litre bottle of towsure blue away to France this summer and they were completely different as far as viscosity is concerned. Its very difficult to tell whether the new one is effective however by its thickness but it just didn't seem right. Over the weeks we used it up regardless as we had no alternative but I probably won't buy it again. Not because I know it wasn't effective but because they don't seem to be aware of changes to products they put their name to.

The 2 Litre gogw arrived ysterday and it is also of a reduced consistency, i am not sure what has happened and why the supplier has reduced it as it is like Blue scented water now.

Got to research the forum now for an alternative.

Cheers

Hi Rob, we changed to onechem last year, and we will not be switching back to any other brand, it is, in my opinion, the best toilet chemical you can buy. We used to use the pink and blue chemicals, then my wife found the satchets that you put in the bottom tank. We thought these were good, until she found onechem.

We are fulltimmers at present and use a lot of chemical.

I used Towsure's own brand pink for the flush. I did try the blue once, but it was crap. It didn't disolve the solids much and turned a horrible green color.

Elsan Blue is much better. It stays fragrent and does what it should do. It is also the same cost as the own brand product. Coincidentally or otherwise you know who, doesn't carry a great stock of it.

I usually get 2 x 4Ltrs of blue and one twin pack of elsan special offers, which lasts about 3 Months.

ALL these chemicals are a complete rip off. You are made to feel that they are essential. They are not.

Using a cupful of normal household disinfectant in the holding tank for flushing, and a cupful in the bottom keeps everything sweet.

Never used this stuff, and never would. It's a CON.
