Hello all, I think the small Gp23A battery needs replacing, on the radio remote fob for my Tracker on a Senator. I want to avoid damaging it. I wonder if anyone could let me know please, how to do it. Thankyou

To open it you mean?

Take the keyring out and prise the two halves open from the ring-slot end with a penknife or similar.

I would give Tracker a ring and make sure of the correct way to do it as it will be paired to the alarm, just like your ignition key is paired for your car, with a car one you only have a short period of time to do it other wise it can loose the pairing ( did it with my truck a few years ago  ) by having the battery out for too long, most cars that get a dealer service will have the remote battery changed at that time ;)
Worth a phone call IMO ;)

Doesn't matter about pairing as the battery being out doesn't cause it to lose it, along the sides there is a section you press in a and then prise apart, unfortunately not very user friendly and I find that often the thin piece along the edge will sometimes break but doesn't stop the remote going back together perfectly ok,
