Hello all, I think the small Gp23A battery needs replacing, on the radio remote fob for my Tracker on a Senator. I want to avoid damaging it. I wonder if anyone could let me know please, how to do it. Thankyou
I would give Tracker a ring and make sure of the correct way to do it as it will be paired to the alarm, just like your ignition key is paired for your car, with a car one you only have a short period of time to do it other wise it can loose the pairing ( did it with my truck a few years ago ) by having the battery out for too long, most cars that get a dealer service will have the remote battery changed at that time
Worth a phone call IMO
Doesn't matter about pairing as the battery being out doesn't cause it to lose it, along the sides there is a section you press in a and then prise apart, unfortunately not very user friendly and I find that often the thin piece along the edge will sometimes break but doesn't stop the remote going back together perfectly ok,
