Tracker System - alarm

We purchased a Bailey Pegasus 646 about month ago and it has tracker system installed. Was wondering if anybody else had problems with the alarm. It seems to go off at all hours once when we were onsite but lately its early hours of morning or during day - there is nobody around (dog would have told us)
 
There is a battery in the pir that might need replaced, with mine you had to slacken a screw at the back of the unit to get access.
Would try that as first option.
