i have a bailey burgundy 2008 and looking at changing it to the sancere as it has a end wash room and the same sort of layout as we already have. the trade in value i have been given is ONLY £8500 or £9200 against list price so i would be looking at nearly £5000 to change. Does any one know what price i should be asking for a private sale

Thats alot of money to pay out after 1 year do you use your van much?
the van is still like new we have not even taken the plastic from under the carpet and the only reason we are looking at changing it is that my wife is finding it harder and harder to get round in the shower

Forgot to add, selling privately can raise a bit of extra money but you have to hope than you can sell it in time before your new one arrives,we are starting to enter the time when the used van market slows down due to weather etc and new models coming meaning more used vans on the market.

Problem i found before was i bought a van in august 99 and changed in 2001 although it was 2 yrs old for me they classed it as a 98 model so trade value was 1 yr older.
