Viamichelin (there are other route planning websites) will tell you about eight hours, but bear in mind that's at maximum speed on all sections of road, no comfort stops, and with no traffic problems. Being realistic it will take at least a third as much again (from experience, though not on that route). You'll need an overnight stop somewhere en-route.
Have you costed the Santander ferry? It's very expensive.

Hi Val ,Thank you for your reply Yes we have priced the ferry and we have booked it . We did this trip in september but went from dover to Calais with diesel prices and tolls ect we thought we would go this route next year as there isn't too much a different in cost

Depending on your disembarkment time the site at Sabinan might make a good overnight (in CC book under Calatayud). Much preferable to the site at Zaragoza.
