travellers change of image

Did anybody see the news item that showed travellers on a CO-OP superstore carpark,the white vans (transits) have been replaced by pick-ups nissans,mitsubushi,and toyotos and the more well off ones had an MX5.they were pulling t/a Fendts and Hobbys.The opening of the store was delayed by several hours till they got rid of them.

I have seen travellers in our area in BMW X5s, Merc MLs, Range Rovers you name it.

I have been in an eatery when they have arrived en masse and pay for everything with wads (and I do mean wads) of money.

However there is only one thing that will really change their image.

Travelers work for there money, they jest love there caravans and live in them.

Are they then any diferant to us caravaners.

Yes we live in houses or bungallows, but work for our money or are retired.

Most peaple who talk about travelers know nothing about them.

They live diferantly to us SO WHAT.

If you had a friend who is a traveler, and needed anything, or any help, they would be there helping.
