Hello CrawfD,
Most caravan dealers or electrical suppliers should be able to supply the same or direct equivalent.

However I am concerned you have asked such a question, as for safety, the job needs to be done in accordance with the wiring regulations, and broadly speaking anyone who is competent with such work would not needs to ask this question.

In theory its not a complex job, but in practice you may find you need to move a lot of wires to get at the device.I strongly advise that you only undertake this job if you know what you are doing, otherwise seek professional help.

It is not difficult to change but as Prof says you have to know what you are doing.

For instance is it a single MCB or two side by side with a linking bar across the two switches? Unless you are competent to do rewiring it is best to leave it to an electrician as it may be difficult to obtain the exact same MCB so the cable entry might be different.

I had a problem with mechanical (rather than electrically caused) tripping of the RCD on my Bailey Pegasus 462. I was able to obtain a Schneider replacement (a much much better quality product than the cheap Chinese unit originally used) and which fitted perfectly. However the output connections were an insulated busbar system which did not perfectly align with the new RCD. The outcome was that when I inserted it and tightened the connection screws the torsion that was exerted on the MCBs caused the cases to start to come apart. I replaced the busbars with suitably rated flex which is probably safer than the original anyway.

These days I take a few photos on my phone before I start a job if I think I'm going to get it round my neck,

I certainly do that when dealing with electronics, and also make notes on any special arrangements.
