Truma Caravan Mover

I have a single axle Truma mover on my van that stopped working this weekend. I have pressed the reset button on the unit, then when I try to use the unit the red light flashes six times before a brief pause, then another six flashes and so on. This apparently indicates that there is a problem with the safety relay. Pressing the reset button stops the flashes until I try to use it again.

Can anybody tell me what could have happened to the safety relay and how, and more important, is it an expensive job to put right.

Simon.

Simon, you do not say whether you had the drive rollers engaged or not when you tried it.

If you did, then try again with the rollers disengaged and see what happens.

If the mover works disengaged, then it wil more than likely be the battery at fault, as they are very critical on getting a full 12v, and will not work at all below that.

Thanks for the replies, I had originally done all the obvious stuff like check the leisure battery and the batteries in the remote control and they were all fine.

I've spoken to Truma and it doesn't look good :-(
