Truma heat indicator light

Hi.
Had an idea of putting an led indicator above the Truma controls, So i know if the room state is "calling for heat" or not. As its difficult to know (without giving the dial a little twist to hear the click) if the 230v heater is cooling down or warming up.
Just a thought.

Thanks.
Andy.

The idea is ok but you will be surprised how much light a led gives off in a dark caravan. ... will you be able to sleep ok with the van lighting up now and again as the stat calls for power ?

The temperature flashes on ours when the heater is heating up although it is very small and difficult to see. Not sure if yours is the same model though and it may be different.

Our is a S 3002 with manual ignition. Seems silly that truma haven't put one on.

Would anyone know off hand the voltage that comes out the back of the room stat/selector panel? 12v or 230v? So I can look online for an led today.

Andy.
