truma heating

went away at weekend and it was the first time we have kept the heating on for a long time.we ran on electric heating on 2000 and it cut out is this normal,we had it blowing out the fire only rather than on blown air.when we had it on 1000 and 500 it seemed ok we usually only van in good weather but enjoyed it so would like help please
 
There are two main reasons why this system does not work as it should, first is the incorrect positioning of the room temperature sensor, second, faulty relay/s on the control board or other control board faulty.

From what you say, overall it's working correctly on the two lower kw settings so this points to a faulty 2kw relay not switching on that element.

Solution is to replace the control board, this is a simple enough job in itself depending on access!
