We had the same Carver/Truma on the Bailey Senator and on the Ace Jubilee and on the Clermont

It needs no drilling except through the floor for the wiring

The unit clamps to the Alko chassis

I found it easier to mount one side and then offer up the other side to it as I was working alone

I brought one set of heavy cables from the battery to the on/off switch and the took the wires from there to the van supply and the mover. The mover ones were from the switched side and the van ones from the live side

I also put a switch in the -ve but took both sets of wires from the switched side so that if needed it could be used to isolate the van electrics

My reason for the above was to avoid 2 sets of cable in the battery box which is quite full with a 110amp hour battery

Hope that helps
