Truma towel dryer

Has anyone tried the Truma towel dryer? Can you open the air vent on the dryer to allow air into the van whilst ducting a proportion of the warm air to the towels?
 
It comes through the wall into the toilet compartment and there is butterfly valve as normal on the Truma outlets so yes you can allow a proportion of air into the van as desired

Thanks I will try and see one for real in the next couple of weeks. Could make drying towels easier when they cannot be hung outside.

thank you that link worked fine. It does look better than the Truma especially requiring only 60 watts which the Truma runnning on low setting would need 500 watts + fan, so I would be quite happy to have the low power unit running whilst out during the day as it is imposes minimal costs to the site supplies, and for most days we would probably not need it unless it was a day like today!

As John Says this is really a good option as even in the sumer you cannot beat a nice warm towel after a shower, they are very easy to fit, and i think the beauty of them is they are an independant source of heating that can be used in all weathers.

What fixings did you use,like the look of it but the suidewall of our indiana is very thin,I would happily rmove the truma towel warmer if the electric one would fit
 
This is the one I fitted

I fitted this low wattage 230V caravan towel rail
It mounts on 2 screws into keyhole slots in the towel rail side mounting about which it is hinged
I was able to find the batten behind the wall board and just screw into that with no other support needed
It was in the Swift Challenger 570 backing onto the fixed bed so the 230V cable just went through the wall to plug in under the bed
It has its own on/off water proof switch and can be left on all the time if needed
