Truma Ultra store water heater.

Hi can any one help? We have just gone out in are new Avendale Van (new 2009)for the first time. All was well until I had a shower the van is fited with a Truma Ultra store, and I only managed 2mins tops before icy water came out (not good to see a grown man cry)

Our old van a 1993 spite had a cascade carver water heater and we could get two showers out of it. I have tride heating the water with gas and electric but both are poor. Can any one help or is this as good as it get with the Truma. If so has any one got the new whale 13L water heater and is this any good. Many thanks Paul.

Hello Paul,

The Trumastore works in a very similar way to the old Cascade, and so should give similar performance. Consequently it sounds as though some thing may not be set properly.

I suggest you contact your dealer and explain what's happening and arrange for them to check it out under warranty.

You only get 10Ltr of hot water at 70oC. If you leave the shower on all the time then I would think a few minutes is as good as it gets. Most people wet up, stop the flow, then lather up and then finally rinse off.Just a quick shower. Thats why I mostly use the site facilities when possible.
