Can anyone tell me how this until stores water, i have an Elddis Avante 2002, which i just took delivery of at the weekend, tonight was the first time i have tried the water system, i placed an aquaroll at the side with the water pump inside and turned on the tap and cold water came straight through to the tap, but if the water just comes straight to the tap the instructions say the water should go into the tank first which will take 10 litres once the tank is full then the water will come through the tap and i am not sure where to locate the switch for the electric water heater can someone help me.

Was there water in the tank to begin with, Andrew? If you have turned on the hot water tap and the water flowed immediately, then that is probably the most likely reason. I doubt anyone would have hot wired your pipes to avoid the heater. Can't help you with your heater switch, but you are looking for something that looks like a light switch only slightly larger. It may be on the seat fronts close to the heater, on the wall as you get in the caravan or in a cupboard.

the tank was drained, they had serviced the van before i got it on saturday, i may need to phone the dealer to find out about this. I go away on friday afterwork with the caravan so need to get the info before then.
