Help! We are considering having motor movers fitted to our caravan. Our dealer is offering us Truma or Powertouch. Our van is a single axel. We tend to use non electic CL sites for our holidays, so should we opt for power engage or manual? Our drive has a slight incline, with plenty of room either side of the caravan.

Unless you are infirm why waste your money on electric engagement? If money is mo object then it's your choice.I doubt the power consumption at engagement will make that much difference to your battery. If you flattened your battery you can disengage maually.

I have the cross actuator on our Powrtouch. Not too difficult.

Adele, l have the Truma which l am very happy with, looking at this forum most people seem to favour Powertouch.

l believe Truma have taken over Powertouch, my self personnally can't see much difference in the product apart from Powertouch supposely have better after sales, l can't comment on Truma has l have not had it that long.

One difference between the two is l had to pay
