Trying to date, can't find VIN pre 1992

Production started in 1976, looking to date it but can't locate the VIN although the current dating system only goes bk to 1992

The repaint seems to have taken away any external differences that could identify the exact year. It should have a chassis number though that might help and the internal fittings if original might do the job. The Swift Owners club might be able to help if you provide these.
My parents had one of that type in the 1980's but I cannot remember the detail, but it looks like a later model to me.
