Just ordered new Pageant Provence. Deliberating over whether or not to upgrade (pretty useless) standard aerial for Status directional one.

Anyone any experience of these - are they worth it? Can they pull in freeview (subject to coverage) as the adverts claim?

Ian, had fitted direction aerial on new van lots better than omidirectional. Bazz.

Hi Ian

I was amazed recently when i used my new Status directional aerial with booster. What a picture, and freeview digital as well. Most impressed.

I have the status 530 directional aerial and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I was sceptical of the sales pitch but my latest 'van came with one fitted and I can watch freeview when others on the camp can only get channel4.

The directional one is well worth the extra as its far superior to the other type
