TV and film web sites from abroad

If you wish to watch BBC or other British TV programs in Europe (France and Spain), the easiest and cheapest method is by satellite.
You can pick up a Freesat system from Ebay very cheaply and there is abuntant help on the 'net' to assist you set it up. I would not consider using the 'web' abroad to access TV.

Because of copyright restrictions, BBC iPlayer & the other channels 'catch-up' sites are not available from outside the UK.
There are ways around this using Proxy servers but as it's strictly illegal, I won't publicly post details on how to do it.

It probably wouldnt be very satisfactory (watching film over the net) and it is somewhat antisocial as in my experiance even Skype drags campsite network speeds to a crawl or prevents others using it at all.
