hi

looking to buy our 1st caravan but getting more confused the more we look. anyone any views on a twin dinette model with the back permanently made up as a bed. in the evening the kids could temporarily sleep on the made up bed before being transferred to the front when we went to bed. in the warmer times they seem to wish to sleep in the awning anyway . another possible wish would be 1 more berth as my mother may wish to stay on odd occasions.

any ideas and recommendations on caravans

we would tow with a mondeo 2.2 st tdci estate and have approx £8000 to spend

regards

You could look at a Swift Charisma 540 or 565.

The 540 can be used for eating at both ends and sleeping at both ends (5berth) or you could try the 565 which we have for our 3 kids and us which is the 3 bunk bed option along with dinette at back of van and the front as a double bed.

Good luck.

We bought an Adrea Altea 542 new in 2007. It has large bunks at the back and a single dinette. Our children are now 11 and 15 and it has been the perfect buy for us. At the time our alternative was to buy a twin dinette but this has been a better option for growing body conscious children! The quality of the Adrea has been first class.
