Tyre Pressure Gauge

Last Sunday I went over to the storage site to check how the new van survived the snow and decided to check the tyre pressures. To my annoyance I found my normal gauge only measures up to 50 psi and the van pressures should be 58 psi. Undaunted I went to several shops this morning to find something that reads higher, but couldn't find an analogue one suitable. Plenty of digital ones, but they require batteries which might fail at a critical time if left a long time in the van.
I have now ordered an analgue dial gauge from e-bay which reads up to 100 psi +/-2. I hope it's OK (Ring Automotive make). Anybody have one of these?

& its accurate
I pressume that this is the one

But i have a Michelin digital gauge & as its well over ten years old, you can change the batteries rather than throwing the whole unit away

Brother in law has had one for years and swears by it (if it's the one in sprokets 2nd link)
I commented to him one day it would be ideal for the van, so he gave me one for christmas, does what it says and simple to use.

"you can change the batteries rather than throwing the whole unit away" - I didn't doubt that you couldn't change the battery, my thoughts were that I wouldn't have a spare battery at the time one was needed.

In an Auto Express test using a calibrated test set up the analgue gauges (inc Ring) did not perform as well as the digital ones. The top digital one was a 150 but that has been superceeded by the RTG 6 with integral tyre depth gauge. I bought a RTG 5 without the depth gauge. I have a Michelin digital that cost about £20 four years ago and its batteries are still fine, and are changeable without any hassle. Most gauges seem to be +/- 1psi so any two could read at least 2psi difference but that's not too dramatic. My old Schraeder motor bike pencil gauge still reads within 1 psi of my two digital ones and that must be neigh on 50 years old!!
