tyre pressure monitor

Evenin All....Some cars come fitted with a tyre pressure monitoring system to warn of any slow or sudden deflation,is there any such system to purchase that can be fitted to a caravan.

Regardless of technology available, when blow out of a tyre occurs I do honestly believe you will detect it at the same nano second any device will warn you of it! As for slow deflation of a tyre, I rely on experience to tell me that it ain't handling right. In my opinion, for what it is worth, I feel there is far too much reliance on gadgets these days which are no substitute for experience!

Cheers

If you have a favourable weight ratio it is unlikely that you will detect a slow puncture while driving because you will get accustomed to any deterioration in handling characteristics until they have reached such a critical state that it's too late anyway. I'd certainly invest in a tyre pressure monitoring system rather than Tyron bands.
