Tyre Pressure Part 2

OK following on from my previous post regarding tyre pressures, I`m a little confused, and having seen a caravan with a blow on saturday thought I would field the following question -

Tyres - 165/70 Max Pressure 51psi

Max Laden Weight of caravan - 1150kg

Hand book states 42psi,

and the million dollar question is ......what psi should they be ??????

Go with the Handbook pressure.

The pressure stated on the tyre is the Max permissable for the tyre, NOT your van.

you will need to find the speed rating & load index as well as the tyre size Ie.165/70/13 S LI86 as well as the MTPLM in order to get the correct pressure from the TYRESAFE website
