tyre pressures

hi,just wondered if anyone can help me,i`m new to vanning and have just purchased a 1992 abi ace herald 4 berth,but it never came with a handbook,and am trying to find out the reccommended tyre pressures, any other advice from a owners handbook would be much appreciated, thanks martin.

Hi Martin. can't answer your question re your van but if you have your tyre sizes & the MTPLM of your van Try this site

Martin, I was in the same situation as you having recently bought a 1992 swift challenger (our first ever caravan) and because of the age it also never had any handbook, but looking through this forum I noticed that Swift were answering queris direct to forum users, I emailed swift and asked if they had a manual electronically.....and low and behold there it was infront of me, so I would email the manufacturer direct they normally do have them......

ABI caravans went out of business a few years ago.

You could try the ABI owners club, or the Caravan Club technical dept, or as has already been suggested by Tony tyresafe. Make sure you give them the maximum laden weight of your caravan and the correct tyre size, including the profile, I.E. 165/70.13.
