Hello,

My brother in law owns a tyre fitting business. He says they are very cheap, but perfectly adequate for use on caravans and are a standard cheap tyre for use on vans. He says they are fine, but says they aren't the best for fast modern vans, so much as slow, old ones which do no miles (builders, local tradesmen, etc) because they're not very grippy and are noisy. Tough and cheap though.

hope it helps

Avondale fitted these tyres to my van when new. Both tyres failed (catastrophically) within 60 miles of each other. Following other threads on this topic some time ago it seems that manufacturers fit solely on price with little or no regard to the life of the tyre, or your safety.

4 years now with no issues to report, don't tow a lot so the vans stood in one place, when I do they do the job no problems at all.

Their also made by 'GT' a leading manufacturer I understand
