TYRON BANDS and wheel balancing

As it has been said on here about this subject today i took our wheels down to the garage and had them balanced. I was quite surprised to see they only took 15 grams each £12 for the two.I thought that having these bands would have caused them to use more weights.
 
The weights correct imbalance and the Tyrons are designed to spread an even weight round the whole rim so should not make a big difference compared with any imbalance in the tyre and rim

When I had mine done they put a long line of weights on the alloys and said that they were miles out!!
