Under Bed Storage - Side Fixed Bed

To stop my storage boxes from sliding around, i have fashioned this idea.

I purchased a straight, steel, adjustable shower curtain rail from Argos £9.99
Extending it across the bed box width, to the correct length, i placed it against (half way up) the beds vertical metal frame legs.
The rail being on the storage box side of the legs.
Just to keep it in place, i then attached it to the vertical legs using a couple of plastic cable ties.
As the majority of the rail is inside the other half, it is quite strong.

I now have a safe partitioned area, between the external locker door, and the axle.

If you pack the underbed area as tight as we do, nothing can slaip anyway.

Hi Mat,

This sounds like a 'Top Tip'. Would you mind me keeping it on file to use in the magazine as we publish readers tips every month.
Also, if you have a picture to show your tip in action it would be fantastic. If so please email stacie@practicalcaravan.com
We pay £10 for all tips used.

Best wishes

Stacie,

I shall take a photo at the weekend, and send it through.
Glad you like the idea.

That'll be great, thank-you Mat.

I will keep you posted on when its going to be used so we can get your payment arranged.

Best wishes
