Universal motor mover remote not working

Bought a universal motor mover remote for our twin axel caravan
Powrtouch as left mine on grass at skirlington caravan park
Phoned 20mins later after left but gone never to be seen again
Used universal one once as not used caravan
Come to use it again and won't work
Been in touch with seller on ebay but not interested
Electric getting from battery as checked with volt meter
Anyone any ideas what problem can be
Been kept in dry place not damp batteries were not left in
Bought 18mths ago

No it's not lighting up is the remote

If this was us, we would have put the handset batteries in the wrong way! Assuming you haven’t done this, the other problem we have had is a poor connection from the leisure battery (enough to show connection but not enough to power the mover). Tightened the battery terminals and it was sorted.
Maybe the handset has just died ☹️

Tina if yours is like this one then maybe it’s worth starting from scratch and go through the programming and synchronising again
