I need some help from someone who is even more of a caravan nerd than me.

I am seeking this information for a friend so the only details I know are;

Gas lights and foot pump for the water is about it on the spec sheet.

Construction a melamine type inner layer, filling/insulation is brown, like a polystyrene material but with bigger pieces, it is also sponge like in that if you squeeze it then goes back to the original shape and the exterior is fibreglass.

As far as badges or decals go there is a crown on the front and all that is written on it is Marquis under the crown.

We've both done a few internet searches to no avail.

Ideas?????

If it has a gas light I assume it has glass windows and will probably be 1970's or earlier. I do seem to remember a model called Marquis but am racking my brains to remember who made it. The use of the name by the dealership has made an internet search difficult.

I think it might be A Line who were around in the 1970's and who became A line Crown and then Deanline and ended up as part of Eldiss, which might explain why the Crown name did turn up far later with a Crown model as they would own the name. Aline produced a Crown and a Golden Crown range which seems to tie in, but a photo might help.
