Hello campers & glampers. Earlier today we discovered a fire in our barn.
Unfortunately the fire took hold so quickly that nothing could be done and it has destroyed our biomass boiler, electrics and just about everything we need for our business to operate. As well as the barn, our holiday cottage has been completely destroyed.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt and everyone is now safe back at home.
As of now, we have no business and we can't accept any new bookings or fulfil existing bookings. Those who have bookings will be contacted individually.
This is going to require a large insurance claim which will take time. As a result of this, we cannot comment on the status of refunds. If you have travel insurance, please exercise it. If not, you will need to be patient with us. We are a small business and we don't have millions of pounds in the bank, but we will make sure everyone is seen right.
Finally, the fire crews from Derbyshire and Staffordshire have been absolutely incredible. Without their hard work and equipment, mum's house most definitely would have gone up in flames. They prevented that from happening and we are infinitely grateful
