As usual ‘Mr Google’ has suggestions for household products like a paste of baking soda, or toothpaste on a damp cloth to proprietary products specifically for tent/awning windows!

I heard that WD40 cleared plastic windows. This may not be true! I have never tried it and it most definitely will ruin canvas!!!! If you are desperate enough to give it a go, try it on a tiny area and make absolutely sure that you remove any completely before folding canvas onto it.
Good luck

Given the warnings from Forumites of using WD40 on certain types of plastic I’d steer clear if it, unless it’s a last resort. Preferable would be a cleaner designed for cleaning plastic or scratch remover. But as you say a small test area only to begin with.
