vanette cooker two holes at either side at the top

i have a abbey spectrum and the cooker is a vanette 8000 are 9000 not to sure it has 2 holes either at top is anything missing please help also my elec heating blows cold only any ideas

Can you post a picture? Is it the oven, grill or hob you refer to?
Is your hob a four gas burner?
On the electric heater there are a number of things. First check you have switched on the mains supply correctly and set the inner thermostat to 9 and the outer control ring to 2000. Give it a few minutes to see if the heater warms up before turning on the fan. Let us know how you get on.

It would be very helpful to know what age the van is and what make of heater you have.
As you say the cooker is Vanette, I am guessing that it is quite an old van and that would mean a Carver heater.

Photos would be really helpful.
