Hello all, my brother is thinking of buying a caravan, he has a vectra 03, 1.8 petrol, has anyone any information on this cars towing limits please. thank you for your help. andrew.

Somehow I missed this post. If it's not already too late, the max. towload of the 1.8 Vectra is 1300kg.
If the vectra is a hatch or saloon & not a SRI max tow weight is 1400KG. Estate & SRI has max tow weight of 1300KG. The kerb weights in hatch & saloon range from 1342KG to 1387KG & for the estate from 1431KG to 1461KG
Yes, stean is right. Actually the towload is linked to the axle ratio. It's 1300kg for cars with a 3.74 axle ratio and 1400kg for a 3.94 axle ratio.
