Cannot say what has been in, but mice are a potential problem. The best defence is leaving the caravan clean and free of any food, it is not a complete answer though. Mice can get through very small gaps, so people try to stop them by fastening mesh over any potential points of access. The caravan has ventilation holes and as these are a safety feature you should never block them.

Mice can squeeze through a hole the diameter of a pencil so there are potentially many places they could enter a caravan. By the sounds of it you have field mice who had a cosy over-winter and covid lock-down home! Have a good check about as they will chew anything - a few years ago I wondered where most of a welly had gone in my garage....
Seriously too ensure no foodstuffs are left in the caravan - by the debris though the mice have enjoyed hazelnuts and walnuts which they may have fetched from the hedgerow.
