I have just heard that Dr Paulus the vet near to Chateau du Gandspette (Eperleques) in Watten has retired. A new practice is due to shortly open, so I will post details when I obtain them from my local contact.

Thanks Clive, always handy to know these things, we normally spend a week, at Montreil sur Mer, , and use the vets there. On the way back home.

They are only available weekdays and Saturday mornings. The hours are quite tight being 0815-0915, and 1730-1900.
Docteur Kouman
14 rue du Général de Gaulle
59143 Watten
+33 6 99 68 43 43
There is still the other vet in St Omer who deals with UK Pet Passport animals.
Julien at CduG will make appointments for the local vet and the one in St Omer.

I like the French nonchalance as when I hit the English/Union Jack icon it still stays in French. It might be because I’m using IOS. But my French is still good enough to understand the website. Looks as if we will definitely mark it down for a visit, or two. Thank you.

Thats strange, mine comes back in English but maybe my operating system . There is another bar la Calypso on the same square, also friendly. The Flamande closes mondays and Tuesdays, but the food is great.
