Views on Club site at Brora, Scotland.

Supposed to be going here on Saturday but my wife is not keen as she thinks it will be boring for our 2 year old daughter. Anyone been in May? Whats the site like? Comments please.

Andy I'm afraid your wife is probably right. It's a quiet site next to a golf course. Theres a gate that leads across the golf course and in 3 minutes you are on a long sandy beach. There are a few nice drives around but whether your child would appreciate that or not I don't know. Thats about it I'm afraid. It's a site I would recommend for relaxation, nice drives or walks but not exactly the best site to keep a 2 year old happy.

Ok mi Lord, thanks. I wanted to do a bit of bird watching, but I dare say thats probably a bit selfish to go there with only my interests in mind

When we were there last June the Arctic Terns were nesting on the shingle just above the beach at Brora. I'm told every year they return. They will let you get so close then hover above your head, lo behold you if you go any further though, they will dive bomb you. The beach was virtually empty when we were there in late June but it was hardly sunbathing weather. I did enjoy taking the dogs for a walk on the beach at 11pm though.
