Back to using our corded Bosch strimmer. As season is almost over, no point in buying a replacement until next year.

OH pointed that out to me and after a lot of research I have nowfound a suitable Bosch product where spares are available.

Of course if you get it now, then there'll be a new model next year and yours will be obsolete. 😉

At the moment we are doing the grass about 3 times every 10 days to keep it neat and under control. I will make sure that it gets used quite few times between now and end of Oct. We also have the Bosch corded strimmer in the shed.

I do get the impression that many firms just buy in the product from China and regard stocking spares as too expensive. If it lasts the guarantee period they are happy and think replacing the odd failure within 12 months is cheaper. Possibly the CRU might help you if it fails but that means pursuing the shop.
