Visit into Germany

I kknow of many places to visit in the Black Forest but too many to mention on here but if you go to my website as in my signature below on look on the trips we have made there with the van over the past 8 years it will describe many places too visit as will the page on Info on Germany. We have stayed on three sites in the Black Forest but Alisehof 5 star is excellent and the best out of all three. If you are going out of season all three take ACSI Camping Card. Hope this helps. We stayed at Camping Wulfsgrung at Schluchsee http://www.camping-schluchsee.de in the Blackforest in 2010 its a terrace site on the edge of the lake ,all pitches hard standing, the site is reasonable and within walking distance of the local town. we also stayed at a site in Titisee this was also terraced http://www.camping-sandbank.de/gb/home.htm. We chose these sites as they where in easy reach of Europa park.

When you get to the camp site ask about the KONUS GASTEKARTE. this will allow you to travel for free on all buses & trains from Basel in Switzerland to Rheinstetten in the north. Some sites do not issue the Konus but you can collect it from the local tourist office.
Ask for a map showing the bus & train routes.
Freiburg is a must to visit & as it is free travel on the train Basel is worth a trip but change trains at the 1st Basel stn and get another train into the center of the city.
