I might be visiting Ledbury to a shop caled Apple Pie House for a Steiff bear open day,Iwill probably go M5/M50 are there any holdups on those roads?

No hold ups that I know of. Are you heading southbound? Weekends on the M5/M50 are normaly quiet.
 
Plotter - I don't know whether it is the same these days but at one time the A48 from Gloucester to Chepstow was awash with fruit and vegetable stalls on the side of the road. The fruit on them was beautiful - especially the plumbs. If you see one I would recommend you to stop and buy some fresh local grown fruit.
