VW TOURAN

Hi Andy

I have the 140 PD MK 5 Golf and it tows like a dream. Loads of power, decent towing economy- I have seen into 30's, more usually late 20's. Winds no problem- in fact you have to remind yourself that you are towing sometimes.

I have a 21ft Bailey, no sure what you are towing but with the added weight and space of the Touran you should be well pleased.
 
Hi there, i am new to caravaning and tow with a volvo s80 auto, which is fine for towing but heavy on juice. i have a vw touran 1.9tdi 100ps as my company car which would be more economical. i tow a elldis odyessy 505 but i feel this may not be suitable even though the spec limits just about meet the requirements.Did you get your Touran or does anybody else tow with a touran 1.9tdi 100ps ?
