If anybody in the UK wants to take a look at a planet from within our solar system without a telescope but with the naked eye just pop out to the garden or even better step outside the caravan if you're away somwhere with clear skies and look to the south west. You should see a yellowish 'star' which is quite bright and currently fairly low in the western sky. You will be looking at the planet Mercury. Mars is also visible somewhat higher in the sky, it's amazing what you can see if you know where to look 🙂
