Karl, The Silent Woman is within 400m and can be recommended. There are many local pubs which serve good food within a 3 mile radius of the site The Half Way Inn on the road to Corfe Castle, The 7 Stars at Burton, near Wool come to mind.

There is a pub called The Wareham on the road between Wareham and Sandford, it is just outside Wareham and does good food.
 
I am sorry but I do not know the name of the pub but coming from Wareham towards the Poole to Dorchester road turn left at the traffic lights in Sandford, pass Sandford Park caravan site and on the left is a very nice pub which caters for children and is very reasonable. Pub is just before reaching Pear Tree Farm caravan site. Good luck with your break and hope you have informed Santa where you will be.
 
Thanks Ray - we have spent many a happy relaxing break at Pear Tree Farm with Alan & his wife. Only been once with new owners and must admit it appeared as if there was no change of ownership.
