Washing the van??

What a wonderful day, I thought, I'll wash the caravan with my brand new untested telescopic brush bought for me by my wife, in her words "to make it easier"

Well, during this fiasco, the head came unscrewed more times than I can remember and the screw connection for the hose connection kept coming off, no matter how tight I fixed it. As well as the caravan getting wet, I soaked my neighbour's washing hanging on the clothes line, I wet the house windows, Not to my wife's amusement and I was drenched as if I'd been caught in a hurricane .. was it a success?

Not sure, but I bet my other neighbours enjoyed the show.

As it was a 'wonderful day' why did you not get the wife to do it wearing her bikini and you sit in a chair with a beer.. I have visions of those car wash places they had in California etc with young nymphets lovingly squeezing soap over your windscreen. Maybe she had similar thoughts with a different gender and that is why she gave you a dodgy brush??????

Hi Chris

Funnily enough ours does much the same.... Telescopic !!- press on the side of the van and it shortens itself.. you get more water on you than on the van where it connects to the hose.. I cured ours from shortening itself by purposely cross threading it. Still like you say gives everyone else a laugh..

Happy Caravaning.
