how longs a peice of string,no seriously, everywhere is different, some you only need only a short piece, others a long peice.personally i bought 15 ft(5 mts),and bought the correct size connectors so i could split into 3 different lenghts, thus having a variable length depending on the site

A bit like the water hose for a mains adapter, what's fine on one site is no good for another.

If you have the capacity (with connectors) for 10m then you should be fine on sites in this country and most sites in france.

Cheers

Following a thread on this topic I installed a length of domestic 40mm plastic waste pipe from the side outlets to the rear centre of the caravan .The end near the existing sockets terminates in another outlet which can be conected to the existing van ones with a short length of grey wase pipe.

The other end has a push fit connector which is just the right size for the newer grey waste pipe to push fit.

I can now push my old black hose up inside the domestic waste pipe for 3 metres and also have it coiled through clips at the rear of the van.

When (if ever) I have a pitch with drain at the rear all I have to do is pull out the length of black waste pipe and as it has a short length of grey wider waste on one end reverse it to fit into the push fit connector on the end of the domestic waste .

Another one lol !!!

I'm still making Notes John G!
Notes yes they sound better via the amplifier that feeds the built in car radio speakers with the change over switch.

We really do need ikons (wink wink)

Did I say notes? What I meant was blue prints that would enable me to patent someone else's invention.....

(open eyes & winking)
