Water "fizzing"

Hi everyone, My Autocruise Starburst water has started to fizz. I have cleaned the system and changed the filter and I still have the problem. It has happened before useing a different supply so I don't think it's that source. When I turn the taps on in the van an intense chemical smell hits the back of the throat and it actually fizzes as it comes out of the tap. Help please.

Hi Gill, and welcome!
Not sure what's causing this, but it's almost certainly some sort of contamination. I use a tank cleaning solution from a caravan shop each year - there are various brands available, any will do. You need to drain the system COMPLETELY (run the taps to make sure) then use as per instructions. I usually give it one more rinse than it says on the carton.
That should fix it.

I have been amazed recently when using the garden hose in that its like foam coming out first of all then clearing. I think this must be contamination of what the yellow hose is made of.Did you by chance use an ordinary hose for filling up and not the proper one?.
