Hello Thomas,

Your question is still rather too general, What aspect of the heater do you want to monitor? Apart from the indicators already

fitted as standard to the Cascade, ther are no additional signal lines that can be interogated and used for user information displayes.

If you are gas qualified you will be fully aware of the fact that any attempt to interfer with the control system is illegal for the following reasons:

The product will not conform to the model used by the manufacture for type approval and CE marking.

It is illegal to fit or use none approved gas appliances. That would breach health and safety regulations and is a criminal offence, and potentially render your insurance invalid.

Without a full working knowledge of the product, wiring diagrams and operating systems, any intervention in the control system may render it dangerous and impare the safety of any users.

It is relatively easy to obtain battery operated temperature modules with a sensing thermistor. This could be attached to the outside of the tank without compromising the apliance, and you could externally monitor the current consumed to show the three basic states of standby, ignition, and heating.

Beyond that I do not know what else you might want to do.
