water heater

Hi, i have just had new hot and cold water connectors fitted to my truma water heater on my 1993 Swift Corniche 2 berth but when i fill the water tank it drips out of the hot and cold water pipe were in fits to the heater, i have tightened up the clip but it still leaks, should i have put anything else in the connector before fitting the pipe.

thanks dave.

Sure it's a Truma heater and not a Carver?

Either way always cut off the hose where it was originally fitted so you start on the new fitting with a fresh piece of hose.

On the Carver heater fitted with the latest black connectors, the hose must go on all the way and the clip fitted right on the end of the hose.

On Truma heaters they have always used a special connector, not jubilee clips
