Water inboard tank

I have had a brain waze but need help with it.
I have an old 12year van and one thing that bugs me is the water.
I fill the outside barrel of water up in the late morning after I have washed shaved made tea for the two of us and my wife has had a wash then, just as I am half way shaving the water runs out.
Now this is not every morning but it did happen once.
My plan is to install an inside tank with a tap, so if it runs out I can turn on the tap and I have more water, like a resurve tank.
I have plenty of room for a tank under the bed at the rear but have not worked out the plumbing, like filling the tank as I would like it to fill from the outside barrel when I first fill up by the outside pump.
I have not explained this to well so hope you get the gist of it.
I have a spare pump and would bye a second but squere tank that would fit under bed.
I would need to have to empty this second tank when on the move.
Can this be done?
Has anyone done this?
Am I daft, don't answer that.

You will find every thing that you will need here

We have a onboard tank & to fit one like ours is would be quite easy ....
Tank has a pump like this fitted
http://www.marcleleisure.co.uk/store/reich-twin-submersible-pump-with-nonreturn-valve-p-2132.html?cPath=23&osCsid=fc5aadbcdbe869d2cd91ef9db809dd75
With two of these one way valves, the valves stop the water from being pumped in the wrong direction ie; when using the onboard tank water does not flow back into the aqua roll, or if we are using just the aqua roll, water will not go into the onboard tank, ( it has its own filler cap & i use the aqua roll pump to fill it from the aqua roll )

We have a switch controling either the outside or inside pump.
( we also have a water level gauge fitted to the onboard tank )
Plenty of other people have fitted them....

There is some good answers, infact the one that said,
just buy a spare aqua roll.
How about a new aqua roll but also buy a, the bit you plug the pump in to on the side of your van.
That way I would have 2 full rolls to fill in the morning but would last twise as long.
Now, can I buy the bit that is already fix to the van or is there an adapter to let you plug in two pumps.
It would only take a small bit of plumbing and a bit of cable to have two input sockets.

……I have been using a second Whale input socket and pump on my caravan for 15 years.
It is fitted in the front wet locker of my Swift on the opposite side to the gas cylinder.
This is possible because I use 25 litre clear plastic jerry cans rather than Aquarolls for my water storage.
My set-up also allows for a water supply whilst travelling as I often do long trips.
I carry 10 litres in the tank for this purpose as I do not have a problem with nose weight.
The jerry can is secured by quick release strapping to prevent movement and sits on a metal cradle to reinforce the ply laminate locker floor.
The locker can also be heated to above freezing in winter as I have fitted an adjustable warm air duct from the caravans warm air heating system.
This prevents the locker water system freezing in winter. It has been tested to –14 C during one New Year in Edinburgh.
The whole set-up is easier to keep hygienic than some internal tank systems and any spillages just drain away.
The outside Whale socket can be used with my second jerry can as required either separately or together as the pumps also have separate control switches at the caravan’s control panel.

I have also just had a 'brainwaze'. Buy yourself a Waterhog. It holds 50 litres rather than 40 and placed alongside your aquarol is easy to change if you run out in your aquarol.
