Has anyone fitted a temperature monitoring valve to a Pegasus IV ,if so what connectors did you use and what valve.
It’s the Alde temperature monitor valve I was consideringAre you referring to a mixing valve, also known as a blending valve? If so then yes. It matters not what the caravan is, so long as it has a pumped hot and cold water supply to the taps. There are loads of valves available. All sorts of prices. some are NHS approved but tend to be dearer. I just went for a known make with good reviews. Plumbing is straight forward but reducers are needed 15mm to 12mm. Just look at YouTube, Lots of fitting videos and caravans are little different that domestic in how the go in. The biggest problem I had was finding somewhere suitable to fit it.
I did write a report on here but can't find it now. Might do later.

That’s the one I am thinking about fittingThat IS a mixing/blending valve.

Except that neatly has the reducers incorporated but at about 3 times the price. However, it would consequently take up a bit less space. So you asked about connectors. Your standard caravan pipe should simply push straight into that one.

That is what ALDE fitted into our caravan to regulate the temperature. It works quite well but one thing we noticed is that we now have to turn up the hot water higher in the mixer taps to get to the same temperature prior to it being fitted. That IS a mixing/blending valve.

👍👍I thought I had posted hoe I install my valve, but my forum search finds nothing. However, I have two pictures. The first is from another member who did his. His is vertical and a nice tidy job.

I could not do mine like that so had to do it vertically.

I am pleased with the results. The shower is much easier to control. I believe they should be fitted to all caravans to avoid scalding particularly for children.
