we have a 2007 swift challenger and a problem with the water. when we turn on the taps or shower the water keeps spluttering out, we have pumped a couple of barrels through the system and changed the filter but still it keeps spluttering out any one got any info on what to do next thanks

Sputtering normally indicates air in the system, which could be caused by a leak or a restricted water flow. These are probably the first things to check.

If it is neither of these, then the next cause could be pump. Does the pump turn on and off in time with the "splutter"? If so, it could just need a pressure adjustment. Other than that, I would need more information, such as does it splutter only on hot or cold and is it only the shower, or is the kitchen tap the same?

thanks ash for your very quick response,i will check for any leaks next weekend,as for the pump is does run on a little longer than it did last season,it continues after turning off the taps.All the taps and the shower splutter both hot and cold.

sorry to ask probably a daft question but whats the best way to check for a leak or restricted water flow?

how do i check if it needs a pressue adjustgment.it splutters on both hot & cold in the shower,bathroom and kitchen. could i need a new water pump?

help its driving me mad !!!!
